Well this was unexpected. We came for the goats but the Scones stole the show. A wonderful dog friendly cafe. With honestly the best scones I have ever had. Honestly two mouthfuls in, myself and my partner were in awe. Soft, warm buttery and fluffy. Milkshakes for my 8 year old went down a treat. Honestly this place is fantastic, dog friendly with a dog menu.

Today I visited with a group of friends, we pre booked a table and Holly made sure it was easily accessible for a pram and 5 people. This going above and beyond service is exactly what you need in hospitality. I had an iced oat vanilla latte and an eggs Benedict and it was perfect, with short waiting time. The rest of the group all had different items and again not a single complaint or crumb left. The other girl who served us was polite and attentive throughout. Would recommend and will be coming back to try lunch next time and maybe a gelato!

We were on our way to walk some goats and stopped in here for brunch. I'd heard nothing, seen nothing, but the pics on Google and the menu had me intrigued, and I was very happy to have chosen to come here! The staff were absolutely lovely, and brilliant with the kids. The prices were very reasonable. The seats were comfy and it felt very welcoming and cosy. Then when the food and drink arrived, everything was really tasty and well put together. On the way out we spotted the cakes on offer, so before heading home after the goat walk, we stopped back in and picked up some cakes to come home with. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely be back again!

We needed somewhere for lunch on our drive up to the seaside and stumbled across the Potting Shed. Unlike the name suggests, this is not a small shed but a huge, comfortable restaurant and cafe located in a large converted farmyard barn. The inside is simply stunning and worth a visit if you're into interior decoration or are considering converting an old building. The quality of the food also matches the interior and you can expect locally sourced products, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. The staff were genuinely super - efficient and professional, and were able to cope with the wide mix of customers. There were young mothers with prams, older couples, large families and dog walkers and yet everyone had plenty of space in the different rooms and everybody was welcomed. A great find!

Excellent food, with a wide range of choice and good service. Portions are generous. We bought dessert to take away as we were all full after our main course. Can be a little noisy when busy but overall I give it 5 stars.

Had a lovely meal with my nannan, sister, her partner, and young son. The waitresses were very friendly and all cooed over my nephew, and provided extra gravy for my nannan which was very nice of them. Food was lovely and large portion sizes, would definitely come again. Not loads of vegetarian options but enough that I had a choice of what to eat, the falafels were very tasty and not too dry either which makes a nice change.

Simply AMAZING!! The food was unreal, I wanted to bathe in the gravy that came with my meal the portions were very sizable and the price reasonable. Beautiful presentation too! The deserts are to die for! Such a great selection! Staff are lovely and remembered us from the previous visit The venue is very cute, it was so nice to sit in the garden by the river, catching the sun and listening to ducks play in the water Can't recommend them enough and will be coming back regularly!
